Hey,

I'm Sam.

I started taking photos in 2009 while I was still in high school, I really enjoyed chasing the shot and seeing what I could create. I decided to go to take the Digital Photography and Imaging program in Barrie at Georgian College and learn all aspects from lighting, studio work and being given the chance to be creative. Since graduating the program in 2012, I have been given so many amazing opportunities from covering the Kurtis MacDermid's day with the Stanley Cup after the Avalanche won. Covering the prestigious Horse Show at the Royal Winter Fair and then also being with the Valley Junior Beef Sweepstakes Show and watching that team create one of the most anticipated 1 day shows in the country. It has been an amazing ride so far and can't wait to work along side of you in the future.

A little about me, I grew up showing cattle and was lucky enough to do so all over North America and through it all made some really incredible friendships and learned a lot of valuable life lessons that I will carry with me forever. I also grew up playing multiple sports but rugby, hockey and snowboarding were definitely the 3 that I enjoyed the most. With that being said, when you look through my photos you will understand where the variety comes from. You may also ask why so many different avenues...in reality they all comeback to being a sport. The competition in livestock shows and in games or competitions are some of the mos exciting to capture, the emotion, the concentration and all that hard work at home ALWAYS shows through in the images. Same goes for team photos and media days tying into the candid photos for farmers and ranchers, they all become a way to market your team or operation and show what you are all about and for me, it's my chance to let the creativity drive and create meaningful content for you to use!

I wouldn't be able to do any of this without my incredible wife Christena who keeps me pointed in the right direction and being my number 1 supporter. My second shooter in training, Scarlett for keeping everyone on her toes and is just as excited as I am to take photos, and our newest addition Robbie who is as smiley as they come. They are the reason I do this and can't thank them enough for this life we have.
